Schlitterbahn Galveston operates year-round with basically two waterparks – one indoor which has a convertible roof combining the thrilling outdoor waterpark every summer. Schlitterbahn Galveston is adding a new OUT OF THIS WORLD mat slide – INFINITY RACERS, the world’s tallest mat slide, as well as the most water thrill rides of any Schlitterbahn park. But it’s not all about the water – Schlitterbahn Galveston has multiple cabanas, groups areas, and an extensive catering and retail operation.
A Schlitterbahn Lifeguard is responsible for giving our guests a fun and safe trip to the waterpark. Not only do you get to wear a super stylish fanny pack – you will get trained in CPR, and other skills that will be with you long after you hang up your whistle. We also need Dispatchers in the main hub of waterpark Operations with strong administrative skills. Lifeguards can apply at 15.
Entry Greeters possess a wealth of knowledge about the park and are strategically placed in high traffic areas to greet, welcome, direct and assist guests.
Park Operations include Lifeguards, Lifeguard Leads, and Supervisors as well as Dispatch positions, First Aid, and Park Service. The operations team keeps our park safe, clean, and running smoothly. Positions in operations are available for ages 15 and up. Some jobs require prior experience and additional training.
The maintenance technician is responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of all park attractions and facilities; this includes basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen appliances, pneumatics, and sequence controls. Help keep everything in the park running great this summer.
Our Security teams are vital to guest experience. If you have an interest in deterring illegal activity and take pride in creating a safe environment for others then the security department at Schlitterbahn will be perfect for you. Entry level and Supervisor positions are available.
Water Quality is a key position at any pool or waterpark. Behind the scenes at Schlitterbahn the Water Quality team works to make sure the water stays fresh, clean, and safe for our guests and staff. From pool cleaners to managers we have several opportunities to work in this important, but often unseen department.
Admissions cashiers greet and welcome guests in a courteous, proper, and efficient manner, sell admissions, food, beverages, and/or other park related merchandise to guests.
FOOD & CONCESSIONS
From food prep to food service Schlitterbahn’s Food and Beverage cashiers are responsible for accurately totaling and processing concession purchases in continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Do you love funnel cake? GREAT. Now you can learn how to make it! Schlitterbahn’s concession line staff prepare all menu items to specified quality levels and ensure safe food handling procedures for the safety of guest.
Are you interested in working in a fun and fast paced environment? Do you have a knack for up-selling and awesome customer service skills? This may be the job for you! Schlitterbahn’s Retail warehouse associates support the warehouse in receiving, pricing, stocking, locating, and the distribution of merchandise from the warehouse to the retail locations within the park.
